THe woodstock ring
There are 13 diamonds on each shoulder for the 13 months they have been together before he proposed. The prongs are inspired by a tree on their property in Woodstock, a meaningful place which they have built together. Set on the inside of her ring are two gemstones; a red ruby for when he started to envision her as his future wife and a green peridot for when he proposed to her. Hand-carved between the gemstones are the words “Made for each other,” a phrase they say to one another. Framing everything are two tree branches from their Woodstock home. On one side profile is the image of a radish, and on the second side profile the image of a donkey. These are doodles which they playfully send each other.
