The Kadakia-Pujji WEdding Necklace

The story

An exceptional round brilliant-cut diamond hand-selected in Botswana is the central feature of this bespoke wedding necklace for famed Indian classical dancer, Payal Kadakia. The diamond is framed by three layers of flower petals, representing the three generations of women involved in the design of this piece. The shape of the petals is inspired by the energy Payal emanates from her heart to the tips of her fingers while she is dancing. Five petals represent the month of May when they were married, and a poem written by her mother is secretly hidden in the back of the piece, hand-carved in her mother's own handwriting.
