THE explorer RING

This incredible ring was a gift to celebrate their lifelong goal of visiting 50 countries together. Set on the shoulders and framing the diamond are rich blue sapphires chosen to evoke the night sky, a nod to their shared love of outer space. There are fifty blue sapphires total, one for each country they have visited together. The prongs holding the central diamond are inspired by the Burj Al Arab Hotel where they celebrated their wedding. The ring is sculpted in soft yellow gold to mirror the yellow sand of the Seychelles. On the underside of the band, next to the last sapphire are four images: the word “fifty” and the year “2018,” honoring their visit to their fiftieth country this year. The exact rendering of a 777 aircraft — a meaningful plane — is also hand-sculpted into the ring. Finally, set on the inside of the band are four gemstones representing each family member.
