THe carolina ring
The prongs are inspired by the Liberty Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts, a beautiful place where they shared many memories along their courtship, and where he ultimately proposed just a few weeks ago. Specifically, we took inspiration from the windows, which help to symbolize the future they excitedly look towards. Set on the inside of her engagement ring are two gemstones which highlight milestones in their relationship – a blue sapphire for September for when they had their first date at an Eric Church concert in Bangor Maine, and a pink tourmaline for October for when he proposed to her. These sparkling gemstones frame the lyric “I carry you in my heart” from the Eric Church song “Carolina;” not only are these words meaningful, but their style also deeply personal, as this is carved in his own handwriting. Framing the gemstones and inscription are arches from the Nathan Square in Toronto, to forever remind her of her home as she embarks on this new chapter as his wife.
