THE belay RING

The prongs are inspired by her beloved family vacation home on Decatur island. It was during a boat ride to the island that he realized he would marry her one day. Set on the inside the band are four gemstones: a blue topaz for when they met climbing Mount Eerie, a white diamond for a magical moment on Rattle Snake Ridge where they exchanged their first I love yous, a green tourmaline for a meaningful trip to Guatemala, and a blue topaz for the proposal. These colors also mirror the Cascadia flag – a symbol of their home in Washington. The gemstones frame their inside joke “stay cozy” in his handwriting. Last but not least, hand-carved on the side profile is Mount Adams, signifying the moment they first fell in love.
